Making Wellness Work During
the Holidays and Beyond
presented by LaRee Stach &
Nathan Ackeret
When you think of the holiday season do you anticipate joy, celebrations with family and friends and great memories to be made or, do you imagine a frantic pace at work, home and social events, leaving you depleted? Most of us enter the holidays with both excitement and anxiety, expecting the demands and pace will overwhelm us. Unfortunately, too often the holiday season experience extends into and throughout the new year. With the right mindset and tools, you and your employees can enjoy a healthier, more present and positive experience during the holidays and beyond.
LaRee Stach will begin our program with an engaging mind and body activity to set the tone for the presentation then, guide us through the following aspects of mindful wellness:
- Mindfulness in the workplace – how to set your day for success with 4Q deadlines and New Year planning.
- Make time to eat mindfully – How to eat healthy during holidays
- Stress-free party planning – Simple tips for health and stress-free party
- How to maintain your physical well-being all year long
- Find a way to relax each day – Have a plan
The last part of the program will be led by Nathan Ackeret, who will explore the rising stars and falling giants of employer wellness programs. We will learn from him how employers are adapting wellness programs as we are coming out of the pandemic and adjusting to more flexible remote and hybrid working.
