Is there a “right” way to pay employees? How do organizations define “competitive” salaries? At times it is difficult for organizations to feel confident that they are targeting their salaries appropriately. As a result setting market competitive salaries becomes something of a guessing game that often times yields confusing and frustrating results. There is a way, however, for organizations to get ahead of the curve and properly define salary rates for their positions. By proactively using this methodology organizations are able to attract and retain the talent they need without ever having to worry they are under or overpaying their employees.
