This program will focus on Employment Laws in the Asia-Pacific Region, the special differences between and among Asia, Europe, and the United States will be the focus of the discussion. Particular focus will be paid to various employment and tax issues associated with working in China, as well as touching upon various immigration issues with respect to working in China and business presence issues that may arise for companies that are setting up in these countries. Furthermore, a discussion on the employment laws in Japan and the various obstacles to termination that have recently arisen will also be a part of this program.
