While it may be the “oldest profession,” issues related to sex in the workplace have become new again. Gender equality, trans-gender issues, fair-pay, and sexual harassment are among the topics that have HR professionals on high-alert. This “sexual evolution” changes the scope of HR in managing issues of communication and addressing harassment and discrimination in the workplace. Conversations that were once taboo, are now essential for creating a safe and healthy workplace where all employees feel valued and respected.
