Sima Reid is the president of Reid Group Enterprises which includes twentytwenty Insurance Services, Broker Self Insurance Solutions and AISLe20/Private Exchange. Sima has worked over 35 years in the insurance industry specializing in the development and management of employee benefit programs, reinsurance for providers and HMOs, building custom networks and working with self insured employer plans. Sima is dedicated to educating and working with organizations and independent brokers to expand the use of technology and innovation in controlling health care costs.
As an industry leader, Sima has been an active member of many industry groups including PIHRA, SHRM and the National Association of Health Underwriters.
As a board member of LAAHU, the Los Angeles Chapter of NAHU, and the 2013 Paladin Award winner, Sima currently is focused on recruiting and mentoring bringing younger brokers, consultants and carrier representatives into the industry.
Sima was recognized as an industry innovator in 2016; featured on the cover of EBA regarding the Private Exchange she and her firm built. In 2016, she was also recognized as one of the top 30 Benefit Advising Innovators.
Sima is frequently published in Industry publications and invited to speak at events throughout the country.

In this session, we provide attendees with 3 critical strategies necessary in achieving a high performing workforce. 1) Building an employee health care plan with purpose - Rather than increasing employee costs, engaging employees using programs focused on their health issues and needs will lower health care costs. Partially self insured health plans give the control to the employer allowing employers to reward healthy behavior, connect members with a nurse; their health care coach and friend, focused chronic condition disease management, concierge services navigating the complicated health care system, 21st Century programs- high performing providers, telemedicine, doctor house calls, etc. 2) Embrace 21st Century Benefit Strategies and Technology - How can an employer provide the tools and resources that speaks to each generation focused on getting the most value with their benefits? We will discuss how a custom Private Exchange can facilitate a sustaining strategy helping employees stay connected throughout the year. 3) High performing workforce - Focus on what is important to each employee; a journey encouraging a productive, happy, healthy lifestyle. We will discuss specific tools and resources that will engage employees in their journey of overall good health.
