REGINA BIRDSELL
President & CEORegina Birdsell’s executive leadership, philanthropic drive, and tireless dedication to the community are representative of the inspiration and vision she brings to the Center for Nonprofit Management. For over 20 years, Regina has been moving between the corporate, nonprofit and public sectors. In her current role she collaborates with business, philanthropy, government, nonprofit executives, and board members to support and strengthen LA’s social sector. Regina began her career at Eyewitness News in Los Angeles, served as press secretary for California’s Attorney General, built the public affairs office at Children’s Hospital, ran the New Los Angeles Marketing Partnership in collaboration with Mayor Riordan and hundreds of business leaders, and was appointed by the Governor to lead the Office of Ratepayer Advocates within the California Public Utilities Commission. A graduate of USC in Journalism and Public Administration, Regina was recently named one of LA’s Most Admired CEO’s by the Los Angeles Business Journal.
