Andrew Russell
Andrew Russell is a Labor & Employment attorney in the Los Angeles office of Fox Rothschild, a national law firm with more than 800 attorneys in 21 offices. He defends businesses and nonprofit organizations in a wide variety of employment matters. He is particularly fluent in handling individual and class actions involving wage and hour laws, including claims of missed meal and rest breaks, unpaid wages, owed overtime, inaccurate wage statements and employee misclassification. Andrew also represents employers in litigation involving allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblowing and wrongful termination. In addition, Andrew provides preventative counseling to ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws. He advises clients on personnel management decisions and provides in-person training on a variety of topics. Andrew also advises clients on employee and consumer privacy protection issues and the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act.
Prior to joining Fox Rothschild, Andrew was a program associate for a nonprofit developer of affordable housing, where he providing technical assistance and training to a variety of nonprofit organizations.
Andrew is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law (J.D., 2011) and the University of California, Berkeley (B.A., 2001). After completing his undergraduate degree, he lived in Sweden for four years and played professional volleyball as a member of Falkenbergs Volleybollklub, which left him conversational in Swedish and with a greater appreciation for the music of ABBA.
