After selling a successful health care business, Richard moved into corporate healthcare settings where he coordinated Employee Assistance Programs and worked closely with Human Resources to develop award-winning programs in wellness and leadership that led to significant business growth for the organizations.
His current book, Strategy-Driven Leadership, provides a roadmap for how talent leaders and human resources experts can use the latest scientific thinking in neuroscience, adult learning and HR best practices to develop their next generation of leaders. In 2016, Richard's book, The Resilience Advantage helped change the conversation around how people can think differently about stress and the role that resilience plays in overcoming adversity.
Richard has published over 30 professional and popular articles and his work has been cited in Forbes, Fortune and The New York Times among others. Richard is a frequent speaker on leadership, resilience and business success.
