MODERATOR
Maru Trevizo, SHRM-CP, PHR is Vice President, Human Resources for the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA). In addition to overseeing the full cycle of HR functions for SEMA, Maru focuses on leadership development, organizational culture, people strategy, training and coaching. With over 20 years of professional experience in human resources, Maru has served a wide range of industries. Her HR experience is vast ranging from change management to safety and compliance. She is a long-time volunteer leader with Professionals In Human Resources Association holding several leadership positions. Currently, she is PIHRA’s Regional Representative for the Central Region presenting PIHRA Los Angeles, PIHRA Inland Valley and PIHRA Gateway Cities on the Board. She is a dedicated continual learner participating in many HR seminars and conferences throughout the year and remains active in professional organizations such as PIHRA, SHRM, the HR Star Conference and the California Chamber of Commerce. Born and raised in Mexico, Maru is bilingual and bicultural. She graduated with a B.A. in Business Administration from the Universidad Autonoma de Baja California. She currently resides in Upland, California with her husband Eric and two sons, Eli and Liam. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, the beach, reading and crafting.

Kimberly Petrick, MD, Family Medicine Physician with Kaiser Permanente, Area Physician Marketing Leader for the West Los Angeles Medical Center, and the Physician Market Lead (PML) of National Accounts for the Southern California Permanente Medical Group Since joining Kaiser Permanente, Dr. Petrick played an integral role in launching and leading Southern California’s Transgender Comprehensive-Care program from 2017-2020. In her medical and marketing roles she partners with account management teams to promote healthy and thriving work forces in addition to working intimately with West LA’s Public Affairs team to promote wellness in the community through media and public engagements. Dr. Petrick also continues her regular medical practice promoting partnership with her patients in maintaining balanced mind, body, and medical wellness. She is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is bilingual in Spanish. | |

Ms. Lisa M. Sánchez, SPHR, SHRM-SCP is an HR executive with over 25 years of experience. She directs her time toward moving HR from transactional to transformational, while ensuring that diversity, equity, inclusion and culture are joined together to drive organizational growth and strategy. Currently, she is the Vice President for Human Resources at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. Prior to this appointment, Lisa was the Associate Vice President for Human Resources, Diversity and Inclusion at California State University, Fullerton and Assistant Vice President for Human Resources Management for California State University, Los Angeles. |
