Concurrent Session:
Unlocking an Ownership Culture
presented by Greg Hawks
The five distinct differences between owners and renters in organizations.
Have you ever wondered “How do we get people to buy in?” Or said “We just need you to own it.” It seems like such an understood concept, but it’s entirely subjective. Have you ever been to someone’s home and realized they treated it differently than you treat yours?
Greg has owned single family investment properties for 20 years. There is a significant difference between owners and renters. This message creates a clarity about ownership expectations that are objective. Everyone at every level, can be an owner.
Mindfully unlocking an ownership culture takes a little intentionality, but is possible.
Learning Objectives include:
1. Interpret and use two critical business metrics to drive achievement of strategic goals in taking ownership to achieve performance objectives.
2. Discover essential elements to establish, maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to influence organizational behavior and outcomes.
3. Learn new competencies to manage effective change strategies to align the firm’s performance with the firm’s strategic goals
