The Fundamentals of Your Benefits Portfolio
presented by Toby Kennedy
As an expert on group benefits, Tobias Kennedy will walk attendees through the fundamentals of what self-insuring even is, as opposed to fully insured products as well as fee for service and capitated plans options. We will also explore the non-medical benefits from dental, vision and life to the real specialty plans and off the wall benefits augmentations some groups really fit well with. Finally the presentation will cover group perks that many companies are offering that are technically outside of what might be considered an "insurance product" but that fits really well in a conversation about "employee benefits."
Learning Objectives include:
1. The difference between self-funded, fully insured and when which is the right fit
2. Ancillary insurance (in other words employee benefits insurance besides the Medical) plans and tips
3. Additional employee benefit products groups are offering to their employees
