Harnessing the Power of Data to
Drive Your Health Benefits Program
presented by Heather Hagg, Ph.D.
How can we leverage data to drive employee engagement with healthcare and benefits — and ultimately achieve a healthier population? Heather Hagg, VP of Analytics and Operations for Castlight Health, will provide an in-depth view into predictive analytics, including: what is predictive analytics, the implications for health benefits design, and how predictive analytics can help deliver personalized, meaningful user experiences by leveraging robust health data sets, such as clinical, wellbeing and social determinants of health information. Discover how predictive analytics can be used to support individuals throughout their health journey by informing benefits recommendations and guiding users to the right health benefit programs at the right times. In addition, learn how predictive analytics can be used to assess year-over-year population-based outcomes and identify cost savings opportunities for employers, both of which help inform strategic decision making for future program design.
Learning Objectives include:
1. What are applications of machine learning and artificial intelligence within the healthcare industry?
2. How can predictive analytics inform health benefits design?
3. How can we leverage predictive analytics to assess year-over-year population-based outcomes, identify healthcare cost savings opportunities for employers, and support individuals throughout their health journey?
