A New Hope For Hiring in 2021:
Candidate Experience and the Business Impact
presented by Kevin W. Grossman
COVID-19 has changed everything. It’s drastically altered the global economy across industries and how employers recruit and hire people. For those employers who are hiring today, job candidates today are forced to traverse more automated recruiting and hiring technology than ever before.
And with COVID-19 vaccines finally rolling out to essential healthcare workers and at-risk populations, and eventually the general public, there’s a new hope for hiring in 2021. And not a moment too soon — in December 2020, the U.S. alone lost 140,000 jobs.
According to the Talent Board Candidate Experience (CandE) Awards and Benchmark Research, the candidate experience has never been more important. How job candidates and current employees are treated will impact their perception of an employer and its brand for years to come.
During this informative session, Talent Board and the Candidate Experience Awards president Kevin W. Grossman will share recruiting and candidate experience insights and best practices to keep in mind.
Learning Objectives include:
1. How employers could improve communication and feedback loops throughout the recruiting and hiring process
2. How recruiting technologies are empowering recruiting teams to provide a better candidate experience
3. When the candidate experience goes bad, negative resentment can compel candidates to share their experience with their inner circle and publicly online as well
4. How candidates may take their alliance, product purchases, and relationships elsewhere when they have a poor experience – and how they’ll increase it when it’s great
